We switched to a new infrastructure and wanted to gather insights which server power we need to server at least as many concurrent users as the old infrastructure could handle. Within this presentation I present our used tools and how one can measure the performance of a server (or server infrastructure)

At Jimdo, we are running around 400 services on our internal cloud platform called Wonderland. In order to make sure these services are available and performant at all times, we integrated a couple of monitoring tools tightly with the platform.

In my talk, I will present how we monitor clusters of EC2 instances running multiple thousands of Docker containers as well as the applications running on top. To make this dry topic a bit more exciting, I will guide you through a (fictional) incident that will show how we act in cases of emergencies.
